Brisbane

The US music industry ‘music bible’ Billboard magazine knows how cool Brisbane is. It named our city one of 5 contemporary music hotspots in the world, alongside international cities including Berlin and Beijing.

From hip performance venues like the Brisbane Powerhouse, the Judith Wright Centre and Gardens Point Theatre to Brisbane’s world class multi-theatre venue at QPAC, the stage is set to bring Brisbane audiences some of the best performing arts you’ll see – anywhere.

Our leading theatre companies La Boite and the Queensland Theatre Company are creative hot beds bringing their magic to Queensland audiences.

Our flagship performing arts companies – Opera Queensland, The Queensland Orchestra and the Queensland Ballet - are winning accolades for their work at home and with national and international audiences and critics.

From the big stage to small intimate performances like Musica Viva’s classical chamber music –Test Drive the Arts gives you the chance to be part of Brisbane’s cool culture.

We want you to be our special guest, along with your partner or a friend. Check out the current shows on offer and register for a double pass to join in the excitement.

If you’ve already taken a test drive, why not suggest it to a friend?
